Are you planning to spend the New Year’s Eve in Romania? If so, you might be surprised about our great offerings and the fun things that you can do here during the Winter holidays. Below I will share some of the most interesting events, places to stay and things to do on the New Year’s Eve in Romania. Are you ready?
Over a hundred songs, six hours of music and a lot of amazing artists are promised to make your evening a memorable one. The concert starts at 7pm and it will take place on the George Enescu Square. Pop, rock, R&B and other upbeat music genres are scheduled to entertain your soul during the last night of 2017.
The event’s called “Hit Revelion 2018” and it will be the biggest New Year’s party in Bucharest. Hence, expect to be dazzled by some of the most famous Romanian artists, like Carla’s Dreams, Delia, Loredana, Holograf, Connect-R, Voltaj, Corina, Florin Chilian, Andra, Randi, Irina Rimes, Alina Eremia, Vescan and some others. Here’s your chance to celebrate the transition to 2018, by enjoying some of the most popular Romanian songs.
In addition, a spectacular show, including ballet dancers, lightening effects and fireworks, will create an amazing New Year’s Eve atmosphere. And if you’re wondering – the entrance to this magic is totally free!
Finally, you can also party at the the Little Bucharest Old Town Hostel. It’s located on Smardan Street, in Bucharest and it has some of the best views over the old town. The party will take place between 10pm and 6:30am on the 31st.
You can have an unlimited number of drinks for just 190 RON (41 Euros) and you’re allowed to bring your own snacks. Please note – advance reservations are required and you must mention if you are coming with friends.
Lastly, The Night Club Seva in Bucharest will also bring in the famous Carla’s Dreams band for its annual New Year’s Eve Party. It’s scheduled to take place on Barbu Vacarescu Street, at 10pm.
The city of Iasi is promising a great party for the special night dividing the two years. The most awaited singer here is Faydee, which will perform for about 40 minutes. The concert will take place in front of the Palace of Culture, on Anastasie Panu Street. You will also have an opportunity to listen to Mihai Margineanu, as well as Fanfara 10 Prajini.
The night will close with some amazing fireworks, which will last for about 10 minutes. The entrance is free and it’s open to everyone.
Furthermore, you can opt in to celebrate your New Year’s Eve party at Unirea Hotel & SPA. In fact, the hotel has prepared three party halls, each with a different theme. The first hall will have the “Alice in Wonderland” theme. The price for one person is 300 RON (65 Euros). The second hall will have “The Phantom of the Opera” theme. The price is 500 RON per person (108 Euros). While, the third one is titled “Celebrate as Romanians Do” and it’s just 300 RON per person (65 Euros).
Oradea is another important city in Romania. The Hall of Oradea is preparing an unforgettable New Year’s Eve party. It will take place on 31 December at 9 PM. You will find the concert stage on the Independence Street’s parking lot.
The night will be conquered by the following artists: DJ Chrom, Vivere Group, Ana Maria Georgescu and the Desperado band. The concert will finish with spectacular fireworks. Like others, the entrance is free.
Finally, you can also celebrate the New Year’s Party at the Ramada Hotel. The price for a full package is 410 RON per person (88 euros) and includes a DJ & Live Band West, open bar and food. The dress code is black tie.
Just like some other important cities in Romania, Cluj-Napoca is organizing a spectacular New Year Eve’s concert. It will take place in the Union Square, starting at 10pm.
The night’s culminating point is the game of lights and the midnight fireworks. For those who want to celebrate the night between the years, Cluj-Napoca’s town-hall has prepared seven hundred… champagne bottles! 🍾
Some local bands, such as BigToneZ, Semnal M Band and Florin Stefan & Taraf are scheduled to perform there. As a bonus, the Christmas Fair will still be open on the New Year’s Eve! Bring in your friends or family and enjoy the good vibes.
Finally, the entrance is free. Also, make sure to check out the ice rink located in the heart of Cluj-Napoca. It will be open to everyone free of charge as well!
Another great option to celebrate the New Year’s Eve in Cluj-Napoca, is the Euphoria Music Hall. They offer a delicious and healthy menu. Plus, the price is only 150 RON per person (22 Euros) and includes free champagne and a voucher for drinks.
The city of Suceava is also offering a dynamic show on December 31st. The concert will take place at the Iulius Mall’s parking lot.
If you like traditional music, I have some good news! The following outstanding artists will take over the mic: Margareta Clipa, Calin Bratianu, Adriana Bucevschi, Sorin Filip, Dana Dancila, Clara Hurjui and others. After midnight, Alexandra Ungureanu, Anda Adam and Crash Band will take over the stage. And, the other best news is – the entrance is free!
There are a lot of fun events scheduled for the New Year’s Eve Party in this corner of the world. You just have to decide what music, people, or the atmosphere you would want on this special night. One thing is certain – Romania has prepared a bunch of surprises for everyone.
