When I first arrived in Berlin back in December 2014, I experienced the so-called Winter blues. Something that I’ve never experienced in my life before. Coming from a tropical country, I was spoiled with good weather pretty much all-year round, and during my first week in Berlin, it was cold and gloomy every single day. The drastic change of weather was quite overwhelming.
Fortunately, after that gloomy week, the sun finally came out and I felt so much better. I learned to cope with the winter blues, mainly just by going out for a walk every single day, even when it was very cold.
Over the time, I grew to love Berlin. I started embracing winter just like all the other seasons. Cherry blossoms in Spring, warm pleasant weather in the Summer, and the gorgeous shades of Autumn. Berlin has a lot to offer and the city is beautiful regardless the season.
So this is Berlin through my lens.
