Beautiful Dubai, a true jewel of the United Arab Emirates, this gorgeous city has risen to stardom fairly recently – only in the past 50 years.  Given that Dubai is a new city – almost everything in it has been built only recently, including all the skyscrapers, malls, hotels, parks, etc.

Since becoming a major World player in terms of business and tourism, Dubai has become famous for doing everything ‘over the top’- i.e. acquiring and building the best projects, as well as attracting the best talent.  As a results of this new development, the native population has greatly diminished in direct proportion with Dubai’s rising popularity.

The majority of residents that populate Dubai nowadays are various migrants from all over the World.  This is one of the primary reasons why Dubai has been called “plastic”, meaning that not much is left there from the ancient, ethnic traditions and even the local cuisine.

Below you will find a small collection of photos to introduce you to this fabulous city and hopefully inspire a visit here someday.
