Copenhagen (or København in Danish) is the capital city of Denmark, a small country that belongs to the Nordic region called Scandinavia. It is easy to recognize Copenhagen by its most famous landmark – the colorful streets of Nyhavn that are featured on almost every single postcard of this beautiful town.
The city itself is quite small and very walkable, and can be easily explored on foot in a span of 2-3 days. For the complete list of attractions, visit the official website of this charming town, that also includes a ton of tips on the best places to eat, shop, or stay in.
The best months to visit Copenhagen are May through October, which are the warmest (55-70F), and also the rainiest months. So don’t forget to pack your umbrella before heading to this beautiful, friendly and historic town.
